River Winds Farm is committed to building long term relationships with our clients, whether you're a beginner in the industry or a seasoned non-pro. Schedule a time to visit with our trainer or take a tour of the facility.  

 

Feed Program

We take great pride in keeping our horses in excellent condition, both mentally and physically. We strongly believe feeding a solid diet, balanced in four categories, will meet and or exceed your horses requirements, thus helping your equine investment perform at the top of their game.  Horses diet's are catered to specific needs based on age, workload, body condition, and specific performance needs, such as Joint health, muscle recovery, hoof and coat care, etc. While your horse is in training a baseline diet of hay, grain, and salt will be provided.

Hay

River Winds Farm grows its own grass hay and looks to continually improve crop conditions every season. Grain- Nutrena products "SafeChoice Original"

Salt

Supplements

Additional products such as SmartPak, Excel EQ or deserves.  Prior to placing your horse in training, we will conduct a full evaluation in order to establish specific goals relating to you and your horse. specific joint aids are provided at owners expense.

Head Trainer

Jake Masterson

Up and coming NRHA and AQHA Professional, Jake Masterson was born and raised in the horse training industry. Jake realized early on that riding and training horses was going to be a life long passion. He has 15+ years training experience with knowledge gained from the best in the business. Jake is well versed in a multitude of different disciplines, from cutting and cow horse work to Reining and ranch riding.

Jake has worked with relationships with his clients. Whether you have a young horse just starting out or seasoned veteran that needs maintaining, Jake can help achieve all your horse related goals.
