Weddings at River Winds Farm & Estate are created with each couple’s vision in mind. We can host weddings up to 250 guests, or provide a charming setting for the smaller celebration. Our experienced event staff will help you find the perfect vendors to compliment your dream and bring it to life.
You might choose to host your rehearsal dinner in Austin House, the estate’s restored antique home with its wide pine floors, historic paint finishes and warm plaster finishes. Your dinner can be prepared in our Chef’s kitchen and served in our large formal dining room on the handmade plank table with Early American Windsor chairs.
You can prepare for your special day upstairs in Austin House, where our eight bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms provide plenty of room to spread out for hair and makeup, with common areas for gathering and visiting.
The Groomsmen and other chosen guests can occupy themselves in our Man Cave, a separate building just outside of Austin House. The Man Cave houses its own bar, gaming tables, and comfortable leather furniture. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a beer and camaraderie before the main event begins.
The Barn is our largest area to house wedding festivities and a reception. Large enough for sit-down dinner service or a buffet line, and plenty of room for the dance party. Original horse stalls, 18th Century post and beam construction, and rugged surroundings will give your reception a cozy and rustic feel. The Barn’s attached outdoor deck has plenty of room for your cocktail hour and to watch the sun set over the farm. Hang all the lights you want, and get ready to celebrate!
Of course, our rambling lawns, gardens and pond provide the idyllic backdrop for an outdoor ceremony or reception. We have had couples enjoy their ceremony under the apple tree, down by the pond, or under an archway outside the barn. The lawn area has plenty of room for a tent to house your reception safely out of the sun and weather.
